Tried something a little different with this wood burning piece—pointillism! Thousands of tiny dots, one burn at a time. Definitely tested my patience, but I really enjoyed the process and I’m so happy with how it turned out. 🐈‍⬛🌙✨⭐️🌟💫🤩Always fun stepping out of the comfort zone and pushing my creativity in new ways.

Just completed this custom pyrography piece featuring the quote:
“Counting every blessing, letting go and trusting, when I cannot see.”
I really enjoyed taking a more experimental approach—burning the background instead of the text itself, using negative space to let the message quietly stand on its own.
Negative space in art is often the part we don’t focus on at first—but it shapes everything. It’s the silence that gives words their weight, and the space that helps the subject breathe. That felt especially fitting for this quote, which is all about trust, stillness, and unseen strength!❤️‍🔥

Last night we had the absolute pleasure of joining the first BBQ of the year at Jon and Mums – Westcott Hub, and wow… what a turnout! The energy, the food (so good!), the fresh renovations – it all came together in the most heartwarming way.

Westcott Hub has grown from a humble veg box delivery service into a thriving refill store, café, and creative community space – and it’s all thanks to the incredible, hardworking team behind it. The crew at Jon and Mums pour so much heart into everything they do, from fresh home-cooked meals to the warmest of welcomes, and it truly shows. 💚

As a local maker, I feel so lucky to be part of this vibrant space, alongside other wonderful craft stallholders. It’s a real hub for creativity, connection, and community spirit. I’m also thrilled to be contributing to their newsletter soon – so keep an eye out!

I know I’ve been a little quiet on here so far & in a bit of a “wintering” season of my own, but I’ve been doing a lot of planning & reflecting behind the scenes in order to have a clearer vision of my goals for the exciting year ahead! 🔥🔥🔥

I picked up the pyrography pen for the first time in a while on Friday & it felt soooo good to get burning again☺️😌.. here are some of the things I made in time for Valentine’s Day 💘💞💝

What a rollercoaster 🎢 year of highs and lows on the market front, but to have met so many wonderful people & to have the support and backing of a steadfast community of crafters , friends & family has truly made all the difference & kept that “spark alive” for me 🔥❤️‍🔥!!!!

The remaining Christmas stock will be dropped at @westcottvillagehub Jon & Mums Groceries this weekend so please do pop in to buy any last minute gifts , there are so many wonderful crafters there!!!!😍🥰🛍️🎁 xxx

Always enjoyable for the lovely customer interaction, connecting with a range of incredibly talented stallholders & enjoying the change of scene that a different town brings!!😁🔥 I always enjoy visiting Cranleigh , so it was extra special to be part of a fair there !🥰😍
